Coaching for Leadership
Follow the Leader
When an organization talks change, but said change isn’t anywhere to be seen, teams don’t feel safe to embrace or take on change. Leadership Coaching is an effective way to catalyze change by example.
-
We work with top management and senior leaders, and where appropriate, high potential leaders to help them identify blind spots, connect to new approaches to success, and harness underdeveloped strengths. We work with coaching sponsors from within the organization so that Coachees are supported by the coach and by the business.
Typically, engagements are 12 hours of coaching over a course of six months, incorporating appropriate assessments and feedback tools, and based on the gold standard of coaching, as outlined by the International Coaching Federation.
For Teams

Fearless Organizations
People change through coaching. Sometimes coachees can feel isolated when they experience rapid transformation— and the team are at a different rate of change. Group work is about bringing about change, one team at a time, and minimizing the potential of tissue rejection.
We work with the Fearless Organization Scan, an easy and effective tool to transform the way teams relate with one another.
-
Whether it’s keynote speeches or panel discussions, co/authoring content with clients to provoke thought and spark active dialogue across the organization.
Usually this is the result of on-going work with an organization after identifying and working on root causes impeding success.

Group and Team Work
See it differently
Akiko’s ability to see into the intersections of culture, identity, and work offers audiences unique perspectives and insights into both the opportunities and challenges your organization might be facing.
In simple language, she breaks down invisible culture barriers and inspires new possibilities for collaboration.

The Fearless Organization Scan is based on research, assessment and facilitation frameworks of Amy Edmonson’s work on Psychological Safety in organizations.
The Scan is conducted with teams that work together and is designed to facilitate dialogue that’s different from interacting on a transactional or operational levels, often required in project and business management.
Typically, a facilitator will conduct a pre and post scan meeting with the team leader. Participants will be asked to answer seven questions to gauge current levels of psychological safety within the team, and a 4 hour facilitated session which ends with action commitments from each person.
Teams who participate and invest in this work see managers transform into better leaders and team members lead and actively engaging from every seat.
We work with organizations at three levels to help people and the business to thrive.
Safety first.
We combine our work in leadership, psychological safety, and cultural intelligence to help your organization navigate.
“Psychological safety is not at odds with having tough conversations – it is what allows us to have tough conversations."
— Amy Edmondson
“Cultural patterns of behavior and belief frequently impact our perceptions (what we see), cognitions (what we think), and actions (what we do).”
— Erin Meyer, The Culture Map: Decoding How People Think, Lead, and Get Things Done Across Cultures
